If you have travelled internationally, you would know that other countries far exceed the United States in terms of infrastructure and technological development. By many metrics, the US has decayed into a second-world (developing) country.
The US education system is dysfunctional. The US imports most of its intellectual talent.
US manufacturing is limited and low-quality. The US has shipped most of its precision manufacturing to other countries. Assembly might be done in the USA, but little else.
US governance is controlled by big corporations. Corporations have passed laws that target workers and absolve corporations. Right-to-work. Anti-union. Privacy. Health care. All these and more target workers and benefit corporations.
Why? Greed.
