About

The nascent NovaConservative (new conservative) party is a social conservative party who’s priority is Canada and Canadians.

Why a new conservative party? Because traditional conservative parties have not cared about the interests of Canada or Canadians for over 40 years. T.conservative parties are rife with corruption and extremism.

In Alberta, the last conservative politician to care about and act on behalf of Albertans was Peter Lougheed. Even Lougheed found a cushy corporate job after leaving politics. From Ralph Klein onwards, Conservative premiers have sacrificed Alberta and Albertans to benefit corporations, their friends, and themselves. Albertans have paid the price with boom-bust cycles, crumbling infrastructure, sky-rocketing utilities and insurance, and laws that harm Alberta and Albertans.

Federally, the last conservative politician to care about and act on behalf of Canadians was Joe Clark. From Brian Mulroney onwards, Conservative prime ministers have sacrificed Canada and Canadians to benefit conservative friends, corporate backers, and themselves. Notably: t.conservative prime ministers have sold off profitable Canadian assets for pennies on the dollar, and they still ran record deficits.

What to expect from a NovaConservative government

  • Everyone will see reduced rates for utilities, better education systems, an expanded healthcare system, and more robust infrastructure.
  • If you earn under 250k annually, you will not see higher taxes.
  • If you earn 250k or higher, you will see higher taxes.
  • If you have stocks, you will pay taxes on earnings.
  • If you are a small or medium-sized corporation, you already have tighter margins, so will not be as impacted by increased corporate taxes. You may not be impacted at all.
  • If you are a major corporation or foreign corporation, expect to invest more in your Canadian people and projects, or pay more in taxes.
  • If you are wealthy, expect to pay more in taxes.

And more playfully:

  • If someone wealthy is whining about this, offer them cheese.
  • If someone poor or middle class is whining about this, question their intelligence.
  • If a business owner or corporate executive encourages you to vote a certain “to benefit workers”, very likely it will not and you are voting against worker interests.
  • If you are a worker, look to labor groups to determine which political party is working in the interest of workers.
