The NovaConservative party is a social conservative party that prioritizes the health and welfare of the people. A diverse, healthy, and educated workforce is critical so societal success. We rely on expert opinion to make informed decisions. Below are some of our core philosophies.

Tenets of Humanity

Humans are social creatures. We engage and interact with others. It benefits everyone to have foundational expectations for how interactions should proceed. These form the Tenets of Humanity.

  1. A person’s body is inviolable, subject to their own will alone.
  2. All people must strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures.
  3. Personal freedoms should be respected, unless those freedoms interfere with the freedoms of
    others.
  4. Societal advancement should conform to our best scientific understanding of the world.
  5. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should guide people,
institutions, and the development of laws.
  6. If we make a mistake, we should do our best to rectify it and resolve any harm that may have
    been caused.
  7. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of
compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

In other words …

Equality. Everyone is equal. No-one has more or less rights or privileges than others.

Morality. The morality of an act is defined by its impact on society and the individual’s therein. While differing perspectives on an act may give differing opinions as to its morality, the impact on society is the determining factor.

Laws. Laws exist to create a fair and just society that protects the people, creates fair processes, and punishes wrongdoers.

Regarding wrongdoers, the NovaConservative party believes in rehabilitation to a point. We support effective programs to provide wrongdoers with education, training, and employment so that they can become contributing members of society. Habitual offenders become ineligible for rehabilitation.
